Ed is a qualified Independent Domestic Abuse Advisor (IDVA), holds a BA (Hons) in Social Sciences and specialises in working with female and male victims of Domestic Abuse. He is a practising risk assessor for perpetrators of domestic abuse, with thirteen years’ experience in the field.
Ed remains at the front line and is currently working with male perpetrators of Domestic Abuse and children who have been impacted by this behaviour. Delivering both one-to-one and group interventions in the community, Ed has also worked in the Secure Estate.
He delivers support groups to parents of those effected by their children’s abusive patterns of behaviour. Ed previously worked with parents effected by Child on Parent abuse as a parenting specialist in a Youth Offending Team for eight years. He has been trained to work with children and young people displaying sexually harmful behaviour.
