This 1 day course will examine what is meant by dignity in care and how to provide best practice when proving services with dignity and respect

by the end of the course delegates will be able able to:- 

• Be aware of legislation surrounding dignity and respect
• Be aware of what dignity and respect mean
• Be aware of how residents feel when they are not treated with dignity and respect
• Be aware of what constitutes best practice when providing services with dignity and respect and ensure they employ these practices
• Understand the reasons why unacceptable staff attitudes and practices must be replaced where they exist
