- Discuss the context of forced marriage and the social and political backdrop to diaspora communities.
- Examine the historical and cultural roots of forced marriage
- Identify safeguarding interventions and link to policy and procedure.
- Describe the nature of forced marriage in the context of Honour Based Abuse.
- Assess the international prevalence of forced marriage and how it impacts on communities in the UK.
- Describe the nature and forms of forced marraige and its links to violence against women and girls
- Explain the legal framework for forced marriage and learning from local/national CSPRS/ SARS and audits.
- Describe how to refer to specialist outreach services.
