  • Examine the historical and cultural roots of forced marriage
  • Identify safeguarding interventions and link to policy and procedure.
  • Describe the nature of forced marriage in the context of Honour Based Abuse.
  • Assess the international prevalence of forced marriage and how it impacts on communities in the UK.
  • Describe the nature and forms of forced marraige and its links to violence against women and girls
  • Explain the legal framework for forced marriage and learning from local/national CSPRS/ SARS and audits.
  • Describe how to refer to specialist outreach services.
