- Understand the concept of trauma and its complexity
- Understand the concept of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs)
- Understand the role of organisations in providing safe, positive reinforcing environments for clients and staff to visit and work in
- Understand the implications of various Trauma Informed Practice statements and policy frameworks and how these can be used as a guide for best practice
- Understand the nature of Trauma Informed Practice by using a case study and examples of good practice
