- Review the latest research on working with fathers/partners and wider/extended family
- Explore why we need to work with fathers/partners that live away from the childs home and wider family members – benefits of family support networks
- Reflecting on learning from National Child Safeguarding Practice Reviews
- Challenging our own views and perceptions
- Getting to know who the family network is (identify, understand the relationship and engagement) and ensure that we have got the best networks
- How to support the involvement of fathers/partners and wider family in safeguarding children and young people
